How to Replace an audi key fobs G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

If this sensor fails, the ECU will display an error code P00160 which indicates that the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft aren't in sync and could indicate chain stretch or a jumped link on the upper timing chain. The code won't appear without the additional information provided by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult because there are two pins for the connector and they perform different functions but the best method to test it is by measuring resistance between the sensor and the ECU. If the sensor is functional, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. Look for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing issues with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at full speed I noticed a significant reduction in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors were not firing. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when i turn the engine on without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump out. The fourth one remains shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found 0ohm. So i assume the problem is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car can start if the G28 is not plugged in and it runs perfectly when it is connected, but still is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of -49c, even if I unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar while the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do. I believe that I've all other possibilities out. I'm afraid i may have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump in the g28 can be activated by a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is identical to the G4 sender and works on the 80,100,200, UrS, and RS2 vehicles. You can easily locate the audi spare key in a salvage shop or parts store. Test them out by putting your DMM in resistance mode and measure the resistance between pins 1 (with the bump on the connector's end up) and 2 (2nd from left on the black end of the connector).
